THE URBAN COUNCIL IS INVITING TENDERS FOR THE OPERATION OF A FAST FOOD KIOSK IN CENTRAL.

THE KIOSK IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED AT CENTRAL PROMENADE, HARBOUR VIEW STREET.

SUCCESSFUL TENDERER WILL BE AWARDED A THREE YEAR CONTRACT FROM THE DATE OF SIGNING THE CONTRACT. AT PRESENT, THE KIOSK CARRIES A MONTHLY RENTAL OF $30 300,

THE HONG KONG TECHNICAL TEACHERS' COLLEGE WILL ORGANISE A ONE-YEAR FULL-TIME TEACHER TRAINING COURSE THIS SEPTEMBER FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE SOME YEARS OF INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE AND ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING UP TEACHING AS A PROFESSION.

SUBJECTS BEING OFFERED INCLUDE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.

INDUCEMENT GRANTS BETWEEN $1 650 AND $2 500 PER MONTH WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS TAKING THE COURSE. GRANTS WILL BE CALCULATED ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF YEARS OF RELEVANT POST-QUALIFICATION INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE.

APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS EITHER A HIGHER DIPLOMA, ORDINARY DIPLOMA, HIGHER CERTIFICATE OR EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATIONS AWARDED BY THE TECHNICAL COLLEGE, THE POLYTECHNIC, TECHNICAL INSTITUTES OR AN EQUIVALENT EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT.

APPLICATION FORMS ARE OBTAINABLE FROM THE HONG KONG TECHNICAL TEACHERS' COLLEGE AT 373 QUEEN'S ROAD EAST, WAN CHAI, HONG KONG.

ALL COMPLETED FORMS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE COLLEGE BY MARCH 25.
