(Effective from 31st October 1982)
Fares for this Hong Kong & Kowloon Taxi have been increased in accordance with the table below. Until the meter is recalibrated, tested and sealed, the hirer should pay the new rates shown in the table.

The additional fare of 50¢ for each article of baggage, animal or bird remains unchanged.
The surcharge for every hiring involving the payment of a Cross Harbour Tunnel toll charge or vehicular ferry charge is twice the appropriate toll or ferry charge.
