Mr. WONG Kin-ching

Mr. Wong joined Government as a Temporary Clerk in the

Trade, Industry and Customs Department in 1953 but was transferred to the Fire Services in 1957. During the last 21 years he has served in Operational Commands, Fire Service Training School and the Fire Protection Bureau, and has worked his way up to Senior Clerical Officer, responsible for some seventy-two clerical staff of the Fire Protection Bureau, a position of trust and responsibility. He has contributed significantly to the efficient administration

of the Fire Services.

Hr. YU Fuk-shiu

Mr. Yu joined the Government in 1952 as a messenger; later he became an office attendant and studied the work of the printing section after his normal working hours. Mr. Yu was exceptionally promoted to Scientific Draughtsman in 1965. Since then, his service in the Printing Section has contributed to improving greatly the quality of drawings in the department's technical publications which have a world-wide circulation. His personal efforts and devotion to duty have ensured the timely production of Daily Weather Maps for distribution to the local community.
