Mr. CHEUNG Man-oy
Mr. Cheung first joined the Department of Commerce and Industry in 1959. Having served in the Certification and Licensing Sections, he was transferred to the Industry Division in 1964 and appointed clerk-in-charge of the Industrial Information Registry in 1967. In 1974 he was placed in charge of the Divisional Registry. On the establishment in 1979 of the Department of Industry, he became responsible for the running of the whole Departmental Registry. Throughout the period of evolution of the Department of Industry Mr. Cheung has provided continuous and reliable support.
Mr. CHEUNG Sheung-fong
Mr. CHEUNG Sheung-fong joined the Prisons Department
He was promoted to Assistant Principal
as a Warder in 1954. Warder in 1970 and to Assistant Officer I in 1972. He has served in a number of institutions and in the Escort Unit and
at all times has carried out his duties in an exemplary manner. He was awarded the Colonial Prison Service Medal in 1972 and the First Clasp to the Medal in 1979.
Mr. CHIU wing-to
Station Sergeant CHIU Wing-to has served in the Police Force for 24 years, occupying a variety of posts in the Uniform Branch. During the year 1979/80 he was elected to the office of Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Junior Police Officers' Association, having previously played a prominent part in its work. In this role he has been able to display his very deep interest in the welfare of the junior ranks of the Force and has guided the comparatively new staff association with tact and diplomacy through a testing year, giving much of his own time to the task. His efforts in this connection have resulted in his re-election as Chairman for the year 1980/81. It is men of the calibre of Mr. Chiu that the Force relies on to set an example
to the rank and file.
