Mr. Henry Ralph HUSBAND, JP
Mr. Husband joined the Housing Division of the Urban Services Department as a Housing Manager in 1962. He was promoted to Senior Housing Manager in 1971 and to Assistant Director in 1973 on the amalgamation of the Housing Division with the Resettlement Department in the new Housing Department.
In 1976
he was promoted to Deputy Director in charge of the Estate Management Branch. He is the head of the Housing Class of 1,174 professional and sub-professional members, a Fellow of the Institute of Housing, and has made a major contribution to the housing management profession and to the public housing programme in
Hong Kong.

Miss Lee has made an invaluable contribution to Hong Kong's success in coping with the many serious problems caused by the sudden and massive influx of Vietnamese refugees.
