Mr WONG Wai-ho
Mr Wong joined the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force
in 1951 and was promoted to Sergeant in 1953.
He has been a loyal and active member of the Force showing
keen devotion to duty and exemplary conduct, particularly so in
periods of civil disorder in 1956, 1967 when he played a very active
part in the maintenence of law and order. In more recent years he
has been attached to the Emergency Unit of Kowloon East and has been
involved in the fight against crime.

Mr YAU Siu-fan
Mr Yau holds the post of Sector Commander in Marine Police
District, Sectors Division. The police officers under his command
arrested over 30 000 Chinese illegal immigrants and Vietnamese
refugees in 1978/79 and detained a total of 365 vessels which were
used for conveying them.
At the same time he assisted Government officials in
important negotiations with Vietnamese refugee representatives in
two incidents involving ocean-going vessels carrying large numbers
of refugees.

Mr John shton BREDBURY
Mr Bredbury has served in the Fire Services for over 30
years, with 12 years in the British Fire Service and 18 years in
Hong Kong.
