Hr EO Kit-tong
Mr Ho joined the service as a Motor Driver in the Labour
Department in 1947 and retired in 1973 on reaching the age of 55.
He was however re-employed on temporary terms and finally left the
department in January 1980 after a total service of more than
32 years.

Mr KAM Yau
Mr Kan's whole Government working life has lain with
the Urban Services Department. His service has been marked by
exemplary conduct and hard work. He has earned the respect of his
colleagues and of his superior officers for his officient discharge
of duties.

Mr James KAN Kan-fook
Mr Kan was appointed a Messenger in the Registrer General's
Department in 1947 and was transferred to the attorney General's
Chambers in 1948.
Since his promotion to Senior Clerical Officer, he has.
been working as Librarian in Chambers. The library has expanded in
recent years as a second library has been set up as part of a new
sub-office in Kowloon. The smooth-functioning of both libraries
and the excellent services they provide are attributable to a great
extent to Mr Kan.
