Mr. CHUNG Yung-ping
Mr. CHUNG Yung-ping has served in the Auxiliary Medical Corps
and the Auxiliary Medical Service for 34 years.
In past years whenever and wherever natural disasters and
emergencies strike Mr. Chung has always responded and was among the
first to be at the scene to direct AMS operations and to liaise with
other services in carrying out rescue work.
Currently he is the Chief Supervisor of Hong Kong Region and
responsible for the training and operations of members in this region.
He serves as a fine example not only to subordinate and more junior
members but also to all his fellows,

Mr. FUNG Kin-kwok
Mr. Fung is easily the most prominent individual in the field
of work with the deaf, and acknowledged as such by the deaf community
itself. As a Trade Instructor in the Social Welfare Department since 1967
he has been attached to three clubs for the deaf run by the Department.
He has organised and personally conducted an impressive number of sign
language courses, and makes himself available at all times to solve the
problems of deaf persons and their families. For over ten years, he has
undertaken handsign interpretation for the courts and other institutions
and he advises, and is consulted by, all groups formed by deaf persons
themselves, Mr. Fung's record of public service is remarkable.
selfless devotion to the deaf goes far beyond the call of duty both as
a Government officer and a member of the community at large.
