He has published a number of research papers and reviews and two standard textbooks on inorganic chemistry. He has made a substantial contribution to advisory committees and boards, such as the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and the Dangerous Goods Standing Committee.
For the last eight years he has headed the Government Laboratory
as Goverment Chemist.

Mr. Wong has served with the Kowloon-Canton Railway both as an- Engineer and Deputy General Manager during his 23 years' service. By his consistent effort over the years he has made a significant contribution to the improvement of the railway and to its enhanced efficiency.

Mr. Au-Yeung Shiu-man
Mr. Au-Yeung was appointed clerk in H.M. Naval Dockyard in 1945. He transferred to the Hong Kong Government service in 1959, when he joined He acted as Executive Officer (Drafting) the Attorney General's Chambers. from 1959 to 1964 and was appointed Law Clerk (Drafting) in 1964 when the post was retitled.
Since he joined the Attomey General's Chambers, Mr. Au-Yeung has given outstanding service within a specialist and difficult field.

Miss Centrell is a member of the U.K. Diplomatic Service. served in Vienna, Dusseldorf, Havana and Salisbury, Rhodesia. on attachment to Headquarters, British Forces since August 1977.

Mr. Chen Taung-han
Mr. Chen was appointed as a Section Officer in the Resettlement Department in 1953, and progressed to become Senior Resettlement Officer in 1973. He was regraded to Senior Housing Manager on the formation of the new Housing Department in 1973.
