He is very well respected by his sub-ordinates as a fair and just

officer who works hard to maintain morale at all times and cares for the men

under his command. He is also well respected by his superiors who know him

as a skilful and competent fire officer who can be relied upon at all times.

Mr. WAN Ngor

Throughout his 32 years of service Principal Fireman WA Ngor has

demonstrated at numerous fires and other emergencies a keen sense of

responsibility, courage and determination over and above the normal, and

his efforts under the most trying and dangerous conditions over these years

have resulted in the saving of lives and property from fire.

He is an excellent example to his juniors and has always been

ready to give guidance and help to his colleagues.

Badge of Honour

Mrs. Vivian CHAN Pui-ki

Mrs. Chan has been awarded a Badge of Honour for community service.

She is Vice-President of the Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club, a primary school

supervisor, and a Community Chest Divisional Chairman.

Mr. CHAN Yiu-no

Mr. Chan is an outstanding organiser of school activities in the

Sha Tin District. He is active in promoting sports and recreation, and in

organising district functions for the summer youth programmes and other

major events. He is a member of the Sha Tin District Advisory Board and

Chairman of the Sha Tin School Sports Association.
