NEW POST OFFICE TO OPEN ON TSING YI ISLAND

Another service will be available to the residents of Cheung Ching
T
Estate when a new post office opens for business in the estate on Tsing Yi
Island on Friday (September 30).
The new post office, the 73rd in Hong Kong, will offer a full
range of postal services apart from the acceptance of insured letters to
tenants of this public housing estate and nearby residents.
A. 10-cent stamp vending machine has also been installed there.
The hours of business of the new post office are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2.15 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Chairman of the Tsing Yi Rural Committee, Mr. Tang Yuen-pui,
will officiate at the opening ceremony at the new post office before it
opens for business at 2.15 p.m. on Friday.
