SILVER JUBILEE MEDAL

Some 140 Hong Kong citizens have been awarded the Queen's

Silver Jubilee Medal in recognition of their serving to the community.

The medal is a personal award from the Queen to members of

the Crown services and to others in the United Kingdoa and other

Commonwealth countries and in the Dependent Territories.

Among the Hong Kong recipients are the Governor, Sir Murray

hacLehose, the Chief Secretary, Sir Denys Roberts, the Hon. Sir

Y.k. Kan, the Hon, Dr. S.Y. Chung, hir. A. de C. Sales, Mrs. Elsie

Elliott, Mr. Erook Bernacchi and Sir Shiu-kin Tang.
