These limits were last reviewed in April 1976, and are applicable to
people applying for public housing.
The adjustment of income limits for waiting list applicants is tied to the Census and Statistics Department's index of Nominal Average Daily Wages for Industrial Workers, which showed an increase of about 20 per cent as at
last September.
The Authority has therefore decided that all applications investigated
and rejected on income grounds since September 1, 1976, will be reviewed on
the basis of the new limits.
