Mr. Lo is an Assistant Inspector of Works in the Public Works
He joined the Government in 1935 as a messenger. In 1945
he was promoted to foreman and in 1968 to Assistant Inspector of Works.
Mr. Lo has an unique knowledge of the drainage systen of. Kowloon which
is particularly valuable in typhoons and rainstorms.

Mr. MAK Ming-sun
Mr. Mak joined the General Clerical Service in 1947,
He is
now Senior Clerical Officer in the Hong Kong Licensing Office of the
Transport Department. For over 20 years, he has been responsible for the
safe collection of (literally) thousands of millions of dollars in
licence fees.

Mr. WATT Yiu-wah
Mr. Watt has an outstanding record of volunteer service.

He was awarded
He is a Chief Supervisor in: the Auxiliary Medical Service which he joined in
April 1951 and has been serving actively ever since.
the Civil Defence Long Service Medal in 1964. He was also for many
years an officer in St. John Ambulance Brigade.

Miss Annie liannah CALDERWOOD
Miss Calderwood is a Superintendent of Police. She joined
the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1966 after 11 years' service in the
City of Glasgow Police. Initially she was concerned with the Women
Police contingent but then changed to more general duties.
Miss
Calderwood has served as a Staff Officer in Police HQ and a District HQ,
She is currently Director of Recruiting.
