This is the largest single construction job currently underway. It will replace the present railway terminal at the tip of Kowloon peninsula, and, when comploted, will cost $150 million. It is being built on a site which ten years ago was part of the harbour. The complex will be in service late this summer, and will then become the nerve centre for transport- ation in Hong Kong.

The fourth Tamar, was sunk in Hong Kong harbour during World War II. The fifthi Tamar is a naval shorc establishment in Hong Kong. It tool its present shepu in 1962, and is designed to operate and maintain a
local squadron of minesweepers, to provide facilities for recruiting local staff for the Royal Navy, and to make available the necessary facilities for one solf- maintaining frigate or destroyer berthed alon_side.
The Club has always been in Happy Valley. ecords show that the first race moeting ws in 1846, with ponios. The Club's promises have boon continuously improved since orld ar II. Professional racing with thoroughbreds was introduced in 1971. The
