In the United Kingdon, gold awards are presented by the Duke
himself at ceremonies in Buckingham Palace and Holyrood House Palace
in Scotland. Whenever possible, the Duke as in Hong Kong this May
presents gold awards during visits to countries of the Commonwealth.
But normally in Hong Kong, the Governor presents the gold award
on the Duke's behalf. Elsewhere in the Commonwealth, heads of state do
this. Silver and bronze awards are presented everywhere by well-known
local personalities.
