THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT IS NOW DISTRIBUTING TO ALL PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS THE 21ST ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF + THE ENGLISH DULLETIN+.
A SPOKESMAN FOR THE DEPARTMENT TODAY EXPLAINED THAT +THE ENGLISH DULLETIN WAS FIRST ISSUED ON A TRIAL BASIS IN 1953 AS AN AID TO TEACHERS OF ENGLISH IN HONG KONG, RESPONSE WAS SO ENCOURAGING THAT FURTHER EDITIONS WERE COMPILED AND THE PUBLICATION SOON BECAME AN ESTABLISHED FEATURE OF THE LOCAL EDUCATIONAL SCENE.
THE
+ONE OF THE MOST GRATIFYING DEVELOPMENTS SINCE THOSE EARLY DAYS IS THE REPUTATION WHICH THE BULLETIN HAS GAINED OVERSEAS,+ THE SPOKESMAN SAID.
+WE HAVE HAD REQUESTS FOR COPIES FROM MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND HAVE REGULAR READERS IN, FOR INSTANCE, AUSTRALIA, INDIA, MALAYSIA, PAKISTAN, THE PHILIPPINES, SARAWAK, THE SEYCHELLES, SINGAPORE, THAILAND, THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE UNITED STATES. HOWEVER,
