Miss Vincent has served as housekeeper at Government House
since January 1965. She has been responsible for maintaining a high
standard of hospitality for the many visitors, including royalty,
entertained at Government House.

Mr. Van Tir-chun
Mr. Van was appointed to the Clerical Service in 1940 and
was promoted to his present position of Senior Clerical Officer in
October, 1961, With his wide knowledge on personnel and accounting
routines gained through his long years of service, he has made a
substantial contribution to the day-to-day management of the Establishment
and Internal Audit Sections of the Public Works Department Accounting
Services Division.

Mr. Gerald Arthur Harknett, C.P.M., C.P.L.S.M.
Mr. Harknott joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force as
a Sub-Inspector in 1949 and served in the Marine and Kowloon Districts
until 1955 when he was posted to the Special Branch where he has served
ever since. He became Chief Superintendent of Police in 1972, and
for the last six months has acted as Deputy Director of Special Branch.
