DEADLINE FOR REFUNDS OF UMISED 15-CENT RECZTPO INAAL

Claims for cash refunds in respect of unused 15-cent receipt

stompa should be made before the end of this month.

Announcing this today, spokesman for the Post Office said that

the cach refund arrangement will cease on March 30, after which date no

further refunds will be made.

The refund resulted from amendments introduced last year to the

Stamp Crdinance, which included the abolition of the 15 cento stamp duty

recointa.

Claims in respect of unmarked stamps of face value not exceeding

$500 pay be made at the General Post Office, the Kowloon Central Foot

Office, or the Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office.

In cases where refunds exceed $300, or where the stamps have been

chopmed or overprinted by the holder for security or identification purposes,

claims should be addressed to the Accounts Division, Post Office leadquarters,

Pedder Street, Hong Kong.
