SEVEN BILLS PASSED

Seven bills passed their third and final readings in the

Legislative Council today.

They were: the Independent Commission Against Corruption

Bill 1974, the Securities Bill 1973, the Protection of Investors Bill

1973, the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (Amendment)

Bill 1974, the Prevention of Bribery (Amendment) Bill 1974, the Official

Languages Bill 1974 and the Prisons (Amendment) Bill 1974.

The Mass Transit Railway Provisional Authority Bill 1974 was

road for the first time and debate on the second reading was adjourned.

Reports tabled during the session included the annual report

of the Accountant General for the year 1972-73, the report of the

Brewin Trust Fund Committee and the annual report of the Li Po Chun

Charitable Trust Fund.
