SHANGHAI STREET TO BE REBUILT
The section of Shanghai Street between Argyle Street and Nelson
Street will be rebuilt early next year.
The work will involve reconstruction of nearly 300-feet of the
three-lane carriageway and will be carried out in three stages to maintain
through traffic during the construction period.
The project, designed by the Highways Division of the Public Works
Department, will begin in February 1974, and will take about four months
to complete.
