NEW BUILDING FOR RADIO HONG KONG

Office and storage facilities at Radio Hong Kong in Broadcast

Drive will be expanded next year with the construction of an annex.

The two-storey annex will be built on the existing podium

adjacent to Broadcasting House. Seventeen offices will be provided in

the annex which will have a total floor area of about 2,500 square feet.

The design and structure of the annex will be similar to that

:

of Broadcasting House, The rooms on the ground and lower ground floors

of Broadcasting House are to be converted into store rooms for television

equipment.

Security gate kiosks will be erected at the entrance and exit

to the premises.

Tenders are now being invited for the construction work, Work

is expected to begin in January next year, and will take about six months

to complete.
