Construction work on the High Island

project, which began last December, has now

reached a stage where the outlines of the new reservoir are beginning to take shape.

To get an on-the-spot progress report, you are invited to name a reporter and/or photographer to join a visit to the High Island works area arranged by the Public Works Department's Waterworks Office and the consultants for the scheme, Messrs. Binnie and Partners.

Transport will be available outside

the reception area of Murray Building in Garden Road for departure at 8.30 a.m. on Friday, (July 20). The tour should be completed by about 11.30 a.la↑ allowing participants to be back in Hong Kong at about 12.30 p.m.

Could names please be given to the

Duty Officer, News Division by noon on Wednesday (July 18) when the list will close.
