NEW PLAYGROUND IN FOOK WAH TSUEN
Another playground has been built in Fook Wah Tsuen, Ngau Tau Kok
latest in the Urban Council's programme to provide residents of Hong Kong
with more recreational areas.
The playground, covering about 140,000 square feet, will cater
for the Ngau Tau Kok Cottage Area and school children from neighbouring
districts.
The facilities provided in this playground are two hard-surfaced
mini-soccer pitches, two basketball courts, three badminton courts, one
volleyball court, a children's playground and a garden area.
The playground was built at a cost of $130,000.

NEWS CONFERENCE FOR MPs
The three visiting British M.Ps - Mr. Michael Shaw, Mr. Nicholas Ridley and Mr. Michael Jopling will hold a press conference tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon.
It will be held in the G.I.S. 35 mn theatre,
5th floor, Beaconsfield House.
Television crews are reminded that they should arrive in time to set up their equipment before the start of the conference.
