TWO FACTORY BUILDINGS FOR KOWLOON
Work will soon start on the construction of two seven-storey
flatted factories at Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong.
The site is located between the proposed Wai Yip Street extension
and Hoi Bun Road extension.
When completed, the two buildings will provide a total of 840
units, each with an area of 256 square feet.
Light industries will be carried out in these units, but certain
categories, such as food and chemical manufacture will be prohibited.
Lorry parking spaces and loading and unloading facilities will
also be provided in the compound.
Piling work on the site is nearing completion. Construction
of the two buildings is expected to begin in late July, and will take
about 14 months.
