the Ocean Terminal Building in March will help collect more blood as it is

spacious and easily accessible.

For the convenience of office workers, the Red Cross is considering

the possibility of setting up another blood collection centre in Central

District.

The Red Cross also plans to run a massive campaign to educate the

public about the benefits of blood donation to the community.

The Blood Bank collected almost 36,000 units of blood last year. It

aims to collect 48,000 units this year so that it can provide blood free to all

who need it.
