A total of 7.5 million square feet of flatted factory space was

completed during 1972.

In 1973 a further 54 million square feet is expected to be completed

and this, together with the 3.2 million square feet presently vacant, should

satisfy demand for this type of accommodation during the year.

Much of this development and that for the immediate future (4.4 million

square feet in 1974) will be in the Tsuen Wan/Kwai Chung area.
