On the problem of the aged, she said there was no mention in the
budget of any provision of hospital beds for geriatric care. She asked
the Director of Medical and Health Services to enlighten the Council
on this subject.
She also asked for information on the progress of the Government
playing a more active role in providing family planning services within
the Government's medical and health framework.
