The scholarship will include a return economy class air passage,
course and examination fees, travelling expenses, a book allowance, a
warm-clothing allowance and a monthly subsistence allowance to meet
the cost of board and lodging as well as essential expenses.
At the same time, the Government plans to award a number of
scholarships to suitably qualified female applicants to undertake a
three-year Diploma Course in Occupational Therapy.
Candidates for these scholarships must have at least two
passes at Advanced Level, in Physics, Biology or Chemistry in the
Hong Kong University Advanced Level Examination, together with three
further subjects including English at Grade C or above in the Hong Kong
Certificate of Education (English), or an equivalent qualification.
The successful candidates, in this case, will have to sign an
undertaking to return to Hong Kong on completion of their studies and to
engage in occupational therapy duties for a period not less than five
years in the Medical and Health Department.

Completed forms, in duplicate, should be returned to the
Division not later than March 23, 1973.
