ANIMAL POUND IN POKFULAM
The Government is to build an animal pound in Pokfulam to increase
existing quarantine accommodation and to provide better facilities to
deal with stray animals.
The new pound will replace the existing kennels in Kennedy Town,
and will be situated in a site off Victoria Road.
It will have four single-storey blocks providing 60 kennels for
various types of animals.
Work is expected to begin next April and will take about eight
months to complete.
