Commenting on the progress of the works, a spokesman for
the project said the dams and the syphons are now nearing completion.
At the main dam, the deposition of rip rap (large rocks)
and the final repositioning of the wave wall blocks are well underway.
The installation of syphons on the spillway is also
progressing well.
The two subsidiary (North and South) dams have been
completed except for some road surfacing and turfing work.
Work at the saddle dan has been finished.
