It is estimated that the initial operating costs of the Instituto

will be about $400,000 a year, rising to $800,000 a year for 150-200

students. Students will pay an annual fee of $400, the same as for

colleges of education.

But establishment of the Institute in the Lady Trench Training

Centre will not interfere with the normal work of the Training Section

in the same building, whose staff development and allied in-service

training will continue as usual.
