As regards the composition of the Securities Advisory Council, the

Financial Secretary explained that it would consist of seven members of whom

one would be an independent chairman, four would be unofficial members representing

various sectors of the business community and two would be members of the

public service, namely, the Registrar General and the Commissioner for Securities.
