The Centre nominated 34 trainees to participate in the Duke
of Edinburgh Award Scheme in May last year. Many of the original
participants have left the Centre, and only seven remain.
Of these,
the five winners have fulfilled all the requirements for the bronze
award.
The presentation will highlight a Christmas party for 300
residents at the Centre, an annual event.
An entertainment programme will include "variety" numbers
presented by the residents themselves.
