Recreation facilities will include a mini-soccer pitch and two

basketball courts.

The prison will be surrounded by a 12-foot-high chain link fence,

and prisoners will be allowed some freedom of movement within the compound.

The staff of the two institutions will share common quarters, and

five blocks of flats varying in height from three to six storeys will be

provided.

The whole project, estimated to cost more than $16 million, is

expected to be completed at the end of 1974.
