NEW PLAYGROUND FOR TSZ WAN SHAN
Swings, slides and roundabouts will be installed in a new
playground for the children of the Taz Wan Shan Resettlement Estate,
A basketball court is also included in the plan. Flower beds
and benches will be installed to provide sitting-out areas.
The playground is the twentieth to be built in the area, and
will be located at the existing paved area east and south of Block Two
of the estate.
Due to the uneven landscape of the site, the playground is to
be built on three levels, with a total area of about 9,000 square feet,
Construction work is expected to begin in mid-January next year,
and will take about five months to complete.
