CLOSURE OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT'S OFFICE AT KAI TAK
The Commerce and Industry Department's trade documents receipt
and issue office at Kai Tak will be closed down at the end of December.
A spokesman for the department said today that the office, which
was opened in October 1971, had been so little used by the public that
there was no justification for it remaining open.
However, companies wishing to submit certificate and licence
applications in Kowloon will still be able to do so at the department's
Mong Kok and Teim Sha Tsui offices.
