The following is the citation for 28 of the awards at today's
presentation of insignia ceremony at Government House:-

department with heavy responsibilities to the community he has won
universal respect and admiration for his professional ability and his
qualities of sound judgment and unruffled leadership.
THE HON. J.J. ROBSON, CHE
Mr. Robson has been in the Public Works Department since 1946,
and its Director for 3 years. This large and important department has
a vast range of responsibilities, and during the last three years has
undergone unprecedented expansion. Mr. Robson has successfully directed
the expanded programme of his department and with his powers of leadership
and professional ability has rendered great service to Hong Kong.
