SENIOR GOVERNMENT SURVEYOR RETIRES

Mr. B.C. Allen, a senior estate surveyor of the Public Works Department,

is to retire soon after serving the Government for more than 111⁄2 years.

Mr. Allen joined the Public Works Department in March 1961 as an

estate surveyor and was promoted to his present post in January 1969. He is

currently Acting Chief Estate Surveyor of the Resumption Division,

To mark his retirement, a souvenir contributed by his colleagues will

be presented to Mr. Allen on Thursday (September 28).

The presentation will be made by the Director of Lands and Survey,

Mr. W.L.T. Crunden.

The presentation ceremony will be held at 4.45 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Public

Works Department Headquarters located on the 21st floor,Murray Building. You are cordially invited to send a reporter and/or photographer to cover
