EXPORTS OF RESTRAINED TEXTILES TO CANADA
The Director of Commerce and Industry announced today that exports
of restrained textiles to Canada must be licensed on or before next Friday
(September 15) for shipment by the end of the month.
A special shipment scheme will be operated from September 18 to
September 29.
Under the scheme, all quotas not licensed by September 15 will be
made available to all applicants for shipment before the end of the month.

No. 5/72 which was issued yesterday.
In a separate Notice to Exporters: Series 4 (Canada) No. 6/72 also
issued yesterday, the Director announced details of control arrangements
regarding exports of restrained textiles to Canada for the year contencing
October 1.

Department's mailing list for Notice to Exporters Series will receive copies
