It will mean the involvement of a total recurrent Lotteries Fund grant
for five years, which is in excess of the normal limit of four years.
However, this proposal has the strong support of the Social Welfare
Advisory Committee and the Director of Medical and Health Services, and it was
consequently approved by the Legislative Council.
This grant brings the total contribution of the Lotteries Fund to the
Child Development Survey to more than $700,000.;
