DATE SET FOR PO SHAN ROAD INQUIRY

A date has been set by the Commission of Inquiry into the recent

rainstorm disasters to hear evidence on the Po Shan Road landslide,

The session will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, in Court No.

Victoria District Court, Battery Path.

Any person who can supply information in this connection is asked

to immediately contact the Secretary of the Commission, Mr. Mo Yiu-chor, on

telephone H-95312.

In particular, the Commission is interested in any photographs taken

recently in the disaster area. If the photographs prove to be of value to

the inquiry, they will be purchased.

Any person who considers that he is implicated or concerned in any

way, and who wishes to appear before the Commission, other than as a witness,

should contact the Counsel to the Commission, Mr. R.G. Penlington, on H-95601

before July 31. The person should indicate what the nature of his interest

is and what, if any, evidence he wishes to call,
