"The Birthday Party", produced in 1964, was Pinter's first London
success. It started that series of baffling and ambiguous situation plays
which critics have now labelled the "Comedy of Menance".
The performances should be of special interest to students and the
upper forms of schools.
Tickets at $1 (students only), $5, $10 and $15
are available daily at the City Hall Box Office from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
