The Hon. P.C. Woo, 0.B.E.
Mr. P.C. Woo, LL.B. (Lond.) Ph.D. (Lond.), a solicitor, was appointed
an Unofficial Justice of the Peace in 1955 and made an Officer of the Order of
the British Empire (0.B.E.) in the 1963 Birthday Honours. He is a Member of
the Board of Examiners, a Member of the Rules Committee, a Member of the
Public Services Commission, a Member of the Law Reform Committee, a Member of
the Permanent Council of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Member of the
Board of Review under the Inland Revenue Ordinance, a Member of the Tenancy
Tribunal and Chairman from 1949 to 1952 and Controller of the Accommodation
Unit of the Civil Aid Services. He was a Member of the Urban Council and the
Housing Authority, a Member of the Traffic Advisory Committee, a Past
President and Committee Member of the Incorporated Law Society of Hong Kong,
Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Co-Ordination & Development of Library
Services, a Member of the Provisional Council of the Chinese University of
Hong Kong, Permanent Adviser to the Hong Kong Juvenile Care Centre, a
Committee Member of the Po Leung Kuk from 1948 to 1949, a Member of the Legal
Aid Committee from 1958 to 1962, and Honorary Legal Adviser to many charitable
and welfare organisations.
The Hon. G.R. Ross
Mr. George Ronald Ross is Managing Director of Deacon & Co., Ltd.
which he joined in 1936. He is Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong General
Chamber of Commerce and has been a Committee Member since 1957, President
of the Hong Kong Boy Scouts Association, a Member of the Trade and Industry
Advisory Board since 1962, Momber of the Panel of the Board of Review (Inland
Revenue), a Member of the Committee of St. Andrew's Society, a former Member
of the Fort Executive Committee and a Member of the Hong Kong Government
Trade Mission to Europe in 1963. He was a member of the Hong Kong Volunteer
