Presumably it ought to do so, as the Colony being connected up with the main chain of Imperial stations between England, the Far East and Australia will be able to communicate with any places such as Colombo where subsidiary stations may be erected. The question, however, of communication with Honolulu is another matter and would probably require a station of a different type to that suggested. I presume, therefore, that if the Colony wants a service with Honolulu it will be necessary for it to erect an auxiliary station at its own expense. The Colbein Grindle 1/26/7/20 W. Lambert 12/10/7/20 AEC 26.7.20 It would be better not to send the Report until it has been adopted. Sufficient to tell the Secretary that until H.M.G. have decided whether or not to erect a high power station at Hong Kong at Imperial expense it does not seem desirable to proceed further.
