The Barracks are two storied and will hold 100 men and 1 non-commissioned officer. More space than is actually required is shown on the ground floor, but this is unavoidable as it is considered that it would be unhealthy for the troops to sleep otherwise than on an upper story in consequence of the short time which has elapsed since the reclamation of the ground on which the Barracks are placed.\n\nThe Guard Room is provided adjoining the Cook house; this will be used as a Mess Room for recreation.
