Letters, of an incriminating character, to many of the above men (20-30) were stopped in U.S.A. and sent to the Government of India.\n\n31.\n\nBhagwan Singh. I knew him in San Francisco; has alias Jakh Singh and Jagajit Singh. I heard him lecture in many places. The Consul in Yokohama told me he was in Northern China to help Indians returning to India overland.\n\nThe \"Tengo Maru\" will arrive in Hongkong about November 20th. There will be about forty Indians on board returning to India. They have been in America about 8 or 10 years. They will remain quiet in India for a time and later, when suspicion has been allayed, they will begin to cause trouble by dacoities. They wanted to come by the \"Chiyo Maru\" but there was no room. Among this batch the following are very interested in and subscribe to the Ghadr party.\n\n32. Thakur Singh, 39 years, labourer in Griffin Shelley Co., Isleton, California, native of Jian village, Gharshankar post office Hoshiarpur.\n\n33.\n\nDulip Singh, 35 years, Buru-Barian village Mahilpur post office, Hoshiarpur, uneducated, labourer in Griffin-Shelley Co.\n\n34. Jowala Singh, 50 years, same particulars as (33).\n\n35.\n\nThakur Singh about 30 years, formerly in Army, son of (34). Nos. 32-35 were regular supporters of the Ghadr under their foreman Dharm Singh who is employed at Griffin-Shelley Co. Dharm Singh belongs to Jian village Gharshanker, Hoshiarpur. He is a member of the Stockton Gurdwara which is a hot-bed of sedition and Ghadr.\n\nExcept the four above-mentioned men the rest of the party\n\nPage 203",
