        "content_text": "Despatch N. 53 571854.\n\nEnclosure / in\n\nConfidential.\n\nCopy.\n\nIn 9293-31\n\n342\n\nMacau, China, August 8th, 1854\n\nI hasten to reply to your communication of yesterday, and herewith enclose an order to Senior Commander Fran Rodgers at present in command of the Vincennes, directing him, on satisfactory proof being furnished by an affidavit of one or more of the Sheriff's Officers of the Colony, that the man calling himself Lieut. Governor, Hongkong, W. Caine, have joined the U. S. Ship Convict Male, reporting to the delivery of the escaped prisoner to Commodore Perry, applying for his assistance in causing\n\nFrom Lieut.
