        "content_text": "47\n\nAn attempt was made on the 14th ultimo by Chinese, through a German agency, to smuggle arms and ammunition out of Shanghai with the intention of taking them to India. Three Chinese were charged and the case tried in the Mixed Court, on one of the Chinese was found a book containing the following addresses, clearly written in pencil:\n\nMONGILAR BEATTACKARSIN, M.A.,\n\nCassperative Hindustan Bank 166..\n\n138, Gansing Road, CALCUTTA,\n\nARESDRAKATE GRATZAJES,\n\nGeneral Kerabant,\n\nSecretary of TRAMATERI\n\nZAMABAYA 194..\n\nT.G. Building,\n\nCollege Square, CALCUTTA,\n\nThe fact that the book has been seized is not known to the arrested men. They say that they lost a paper lately containing the following address:\n\nMOYLI LI,\n\nSigner (or S.A.M.),\n\nFrenak Churais Gallego,\n\nBOTRAM Station, CALCUTTA,\n\nThis last is only their recollection and is perhaps a phonetic reproduction. The station, they are certain, is on a railway 10 miles from Calcutta.\n\nParticulars of the trial are attached (Appendix \"A\").\n\nThere are dozens of rifles in the vicinity of Hankow; two parties are after them, the Russians and the Japanese. Official report is forthcoming for the Russians and it is thought they will get them, but if the Germans do, they will be sure to send them to Hongkong, Singapore, and India.",
