        "content_text": "Enclosure No. 2 in Kr. renan's despatch No. 58 of 28th April, 1988.\n\n184\n\nSir,\n\nThe man who gave the undermentioned information was brought to my office at 14.30 hours to-day (23/3/20) by Detective OHV AZUKO.\n\nThree days ago I was informed at my office, TAI-KWUN-ZANO, 20 G8 district, by one of my men who is a Holo and a native of Cheong žai village, Bim shan district, that a gang of 28 pirates had completed arrangements for a contemplated zirao, on a steamer running out of Shanghai. The final arrangements were made at FAT LO ORG. These men (pirates) came to Hong Kong by native craft, possibly by fishing boats; they did not come together, but in small batches. It is also unknown where they stayed while in Hong Kong or by what ship (whether they all went by the same ship or not) to Shanghai. Their movements were kept very secret in view of the reverse they (possibly members of the same gang) suffered in the recent raid they embarked upon (re: \"Irene\"). The firearms in this case, as in all previous cases, are to be taken on board at Shanghai. I have no information as to the shipping Company the vessel they have singled out belongs to. My informant furnished me with the names of some of the gang, viz:-\n\n1) WONG ΣG ( ), aged 29 years, Native of Tai Tan ( ) village, Shen district. He is a Hoklo but also speaks Hakka. This gang is not known by any particular \"ong\" name. He is described as leader of this gang.\n\n2) CHAN CUT FAI ( ), aged 25 years, Native of Cheong Pai ( ) village, Bim shan district. He is Hoklo, but also speaks Hakka.\n\n31/",
